Twas a Cold Wintry Night

May hadn’t been out since the harvest ball and now knew why. Her back made her freeze in her tracks. 81/101
 or...

Who/what stood ahead?
Her mind was filled with dread
You reap what you sow
So harvest time had come
Going out after dark
Was pretty dumb….
113/134

or...

Why did her car have to die on a night like this? She had been waiting after harvest to get it fixed.  80/102

Twas a cold wintry night
Tho Harvest was now past
She was going to the
Harvest ball,
If anyone asked.

Grandma has offered the above picture for our microfiction challenge this week. Our mission; should we choose to accept it; is to concoct a story using 140 characters/words or less and as a bonus use the bonus word of the week. This week it is "harvest". Join us at http://grandmas-goulash.info/ and show us just how low you can go.

Blessings!

Wow! You're really on a roll today. I worried that harvest would be problematic with this pic, but it obviously posed no problem for you. I enjoyed them all, though the 2nd was my favorite.

BTW, your entry address wasn't working, but I've got it fixed. Don't want anyone to miss these.

Thanks for fixing my link. I hope you find a nice new home before the holidays!!!

I like them all, Judy. All of these were doing 'pretty dumb' things. I wonder if the one who mentioned 'dumb' was blonde.

BTW, the dark and snowy night reminded me that I haven't seen any of Snoopy's compositions lately.
