Red Maples

Friday, April 12, 2013

We haven't any flowers or blossoms yet, in fact we may get a few more snowfalls before we can put our coats away till next winter. I dug these pictures out of my photo archive from last fall. I had spotted these lovely red maples when travelling to the kid's home to visit them and could not resist pulling over for a few shots. :-) They give me some reprieve from this long winter we have had and still have not emerged from.

This post is linked to color connection and shadow shot Sunday. I hope you have a gloriously colorful  and blessed weekend. I will be babysitting for my baby girl's 6 children and my baby boy's one so am not sure how much of an opportunity I will have to go online this weekend. This grandma is going to be worn out but very happy. he he. I love my grands.

A shadow quote for you:
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. ~ William Shakespeare

Great colours. I love them. Good luck looking after 7 kids. You'll be totally worn out at the end of it all, but I'm sure you'll have loads of fun.
