Whose the Fairest of them all?

Mirror do you see
What this witch has done to me
Is this not vanity?
Passing store windows
She stopped and stared at herself
And got caught unaware.
Mirrors were never
True to her; they showed her flaws
When she had none!
Kristjaan Panneman hosts a meme with a haiku a day. His prompt for today is "vanity". I hope you all have fun with your creativity genius. See you there! :-)

Thank you for your visit. Take care, stay healthy and God bless!

Wow Judy, this is really a nice post on our prompt 'vanity'. We are all a bit vainglorious I think ... because we all look in the mirror more than once a day.
I am glad that you like Carpe Diem and I think you for your daily effort to write and share haiku with us.

Love this.

PS I have actually watched Mirror Mirror - it was good.

I confess - I am no friend of the mirror...aging has dampened any vanity I once had....thanx for this pensive set..
