Kristjaan Panneman challenges us to create a haiku in the spirit of Chiyo-ni a well known poetess. He has given us a wonderful example of one of her beautifully written haiku and the unique style with which it was written. I am sorry, I am not in her league but love a challenge so please allow me to humbly submit my attempt. If you love a challenge then visit Carpe diem and put your best foot forward, or should I say "pen"?

Thank you for your visit. Take care, stay healthy and God bless!!

This is a nice attempt on the one I gave by Chiyo-ni. I know it's not easy to write a haiku on the haiku of someone else.

It's beautiful, Judy. You should be proud of it.

Sounds like there was a truth he couldn't handle.

More blossoms are lost that way.

Cheers!

The delicate blossom has the strength of a willow wand :-)

Well done Judy!

I'm still not into this style of writing, but there is beauty in your words!
