Are You Glowing? Why Not?

Sunday, January 8, 2012

Shadows fall upon the snow
And the branches shimmer
and glow

Sunshine casts a wonderful

Warmth that has us all aglow.

If you are not glowing, but are in fact feeling a little sluggish or under the weather perhaps you need to detox. Our bodies cannot be expected to run at peak performance if we do not properly care for them. I wrote an article about  protecting our bodies from toxins. I found most of the valuable information in the book 7-Day Detox Miracle. If you would like to read it I have the link here:

What Can We Do to Protect Ourselves From Toxins?

This post is linked to Shadow Shot Sunday. Thanks so much for your visit today. Take care, stay healthy, and God bless!

Snow makes pine trees more beautiful to photograph doesn't it?

Even when it is cold that sun can really warm things up--or at least make it look bright, sunny, and warm outside. I'm doing a Green Tea detox right now -I'll check out the article when I have a little more time-thanks. Have a great week. Mickie :)

Sometimes it's hard to glow in the winter, Judy. The weather gets you down, especially if you haven't seen sunlight in days.

Great verse!

Beautiful photos!!!

Toxins are everywhere and its true, they can really bog you down...

I know something's definitely bogging down my computer today...

Do you think they have toxins too? hmmmmmm, I wonder....

Those are very nice photos.

It's true about glowing. I can tell when I'm under a shadow and work to fix it if I can.

Thanks for sharing

I usually drink lots of water to keep the toxins at bay. Then I will do a green tea detox about once a month. Love your wintery scenes.
