Murder Mystery or Prank?

Sunday, October 16, 2011

This was their first day on the force and they received a frantic call from someone reporting a murder at this site. The two officers looked at one another wondering whether this had perhaps been a prank to initiate them, did the caller get the house number wrong, or was it real? The house looked like it was the victim because what human in their right mind would set foot inside it? The hideous peeling paint was no doubt lead based and the porch unfit to hold the weight of anything weighing more than a pound.

The stench was unbelievable!

This post linked to Saturday Centus. I hope I complied with the rules. Thanks Jenny for the opportunity to play and thanks everyone for their visit! Take care and God bless!

Loved this: "The house looked like IT was the victim..."

Well done.

...okay, if the house isn't the victim, what did the officers find? Oh this is like something out of C.S.I -the Backwoods....very, very eerie....please do let us know how it all ends up! Great post, thanks!

Oh this was very good. This would be a very good murder mystery. At least I hope it's not a prank, ha.

Hmmm... not sure what this is, even though I visited the site. Your story is great though. It has the beginning of a great murder mystery tale.

I would like to comment on how to pronounce bologna. I pronounce it baloney even though I don't spell it that way. Now to the house mystery I will let you tell me, since I don't want to act stupid after saying baloney.

I love a good mystery and you have certainly created one Judy. I am very curious about their findings.
