This may have seemed expedient but now what? How many times had he wished to be the fly on the wall but now he couldn't hear a thing! ~134~

This post linked to Succinctly Yours! Join in the microfiction challenge. Post your story of 140 words or less. Use the Design 215 counter if you like. It is a really cool tool that counts your characters for you.The suggested word was expedient, so for more of a challenge include that in your story.

Thanks so much for your visit. Take care and God bless!

With the suggested photo write your interpretation within 140 characters.

Hi Judy ~~ Sometimes we really haven't thought out our wishes very well.
Then when we get what we wish we are wishing that we hadn't wished that wish after all.

I like it. Off hand I would say that at least seven, including me, of us sixteen responders have used something to do with "the fly on the wall."

Aah..the wish didn't turn out well. Great take on the photo!

Very clever, Judy. I hadn't heard of this challenge, but it sounds exciting.

What a cool little shadow! Nice shot!

Now that I have ads on my blog I'm starting to notice other people's. I'll try to remember to click them every time I visit. :)

Have a great weekend!

Funny. It just goes to show that we need to be really careful in the wording when making a wish.
