Boots full of water

Wednesday, April 6, 2011

The lake was surrounded with puddles as the snow melted. As I tried to get closer to the geese the soggy ground pulled at my short boots and I thought they would come right off and I would be standing on the wet ground in my socks. My feet were soaked! Ah, spring is coming.

This post linked to Outdoor Wednesday and Watery Wednesday! Thanks so much for visiting. Take care and God bless.

Your photos remind me to go to the closest lake or water body to check out.

Wish we could share a little of each of of what is going weather wise. You have too much wetness and we are in a drought.

I'm aching to get out some where near the water! Your photos call to me to be out in nature.

Yes. It's that time of year where the geese and the swans have a great time playing and being fed. The tiny leaves are appearing on the trees and it's getting warmer every day. I love it.

Beautiful lake shots, the geese seem happy that the snow is gone.

Your problems with the wet boots reminds me of Alaska when we had puddles everywhere.
