The Golden-Rain Tree Shows Off

Sunday, November 14, 2010

I've watched the golden rain tree from my fourth floor window during my breaks and lunches all year. It is now beginning to lose it's leaves and shiver in the cold. Just for a short time the sun shines on it and it proudly displays its beautiful yellow and golden leaves. Join us and share your splashes of yellow at Mellow Yellow and have a wonderful week!

At least Mother Nature gives us a brilliant show of color before the dark, dreary days of winter arrive. Your golden rain tree is gorgeous Judy. I especially like your last photo of the yellow leaves against the blue sky.

Those last bright leaves are a boon on a cold day :-)

It's a wonder you still have leaves like these to photograph, Judy.
We live opposite a field and all the trees over there are now empty. It's amazing what we can now see in a distance.

In the collage, lower left panel there are a pile of leaves on the ground. Most trees are emptying or empty by now. The show is coming to a close. I plead, encore, encore, but the snow is coming to take the last leaves away...

Did you make an appointment for the leaves to come back next year?
