A Strange Tree(s)

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

I had to do a double take when coming home the other day by an alternative route. This tree appears to be two trees merged into one. I could not see where one started and the other left off. :-) I would have liked to have gotten closer to it, but it was on private property a good ways off the street.

Too bad we cannot get along as well as nature does. :-) For more outdoor shots or to share yours visit Outdoor Wednesday and have a wonderful week!

It's actually a very pretty combination, and almost has an artistic feel to it. Gotta love nature!

Wow... that is crazy and fabulous all in one with the way they have merged!

Great shots!
Happy Wednesday to you!

That is unique, or strange, well I prefer to call it unique, since anything done as such by nature is strange... Smiles.

It looks as though the trees might have been planted a little too close together but the mistake is quite beautiful. The texture and colors blend well.

The owner of my house has an apple tree and a flowering cherry tree grown together as though there is one tree. The apple never fruit much.

An unusual find, Judy.
I suppose that's what we become when we marry. Two trees posing as one? :-)

great one. great photo... you can see the difference in the leaves that they are indeed two different kinds of trees.
