Ruby Tuesday

Monday, May 24, 2010

When I came across this particular meme it took on special significance to me as both my mother and my baby girl are named Ruby. Their names mean precious gems, and that fits them very well. :-)

I have a picture of a thermometer. It actually reached 78 F yesterday. See the red indicating the temperature?
I could not resist these flowers heading out of WalMarts, and the ballet dancers were at my grand children's dance recital posted earlier on my blog.

How about some red hot cinnamon candy? It helps improve concentration, so we can study better. I have a dictionary handy and one of my many health books.

Beautiful series of red pictures Judy! The dancers are fabulous.

What a pretty name, Ruby!

It's been warm here, too, unseasonably so. Today will reach 90, tomorrow the mid-90s. Normal highs are in the 70s. We've had a lot of this type of warmth this Spring. But I just planted my veggie garden last week, so the plants will enjoy the heat!

Icy, aren't the little ones cute? Are you enjoying warmer weather too?

Joanne, I worked in my yard this week end and had to go and check the thermometer because it felt warmer than it was, but then it was awfully humid. I hope your veggies do well.

Take care, thanks for the visits and God bless!

Hahaha... I was thinking of taking picture of the thermometer this morning too. It was 91 degrees, but when I got home and got myself buried in my monumental laundry to fold, I totally forgot about it.

Ruthi, that's funny! I was thinking about the red - for ruby Tuesday. I felt red too, doing yard work with sweat pouring off of me. lol
